Rajasthani cooking was influenced by the war-like lifestyle of the Rajput inhabitants. Local dishes that should not be missed are Daal-Baati, Churma and Gatte Ki Sabzi. If you have a sweet tooth, do order for Ghevar, Malpuas, Mawa Kachori & Rasgollas. A number of restaurants and eating joints offer a variety of Indian and continental cuisine options.

How's the weather ?
April to June is the pre-monsoon or summer season when temperatures go up to 45°C.July to September is the monsoon period which sees rainfall, with temperatures between 35°C to 40°C. October and November are the post-monsoon season months when the climate is pleasant. Temperatures fall between 18°C and 35°C.December to March is the winter season, which sees temperatures falling to freezing in some parts. December & January are the year's coldest months.
